Benjamin Moore Ultra Spec 500 is recommended. Approved wall color and finish are confirmed before purchase. Two full applications will be provided when a two coat finish is specified in the approved scope. Significant color changes or damaged surfaces may require additional preparation, primer or coats at an approved extra cost.
Signature and Complete include approximately 120 LF of baseboards, 85 LF of door casings and 90 LF of window trim. These prices cover light preparation and repainting of sound existing surfaces. Major repairs and replacements are excluded.
The Complete package includes five existing standard doors painted on both faces, at $75 per door. Door edges, hardware removal, extensive repairs and unusual finishes require additional confirmation.
You may purchase your paint independently or authorize 800 Handy to coordinate the purchase with no additional purchasing or handling fee. Paint is billed at actual purchase cost, including applicable taxes. Colors and finishes must be approved before tinting or ordering.
The project is planned for two working days, with two professionals on day one and three crew members on day two. The third crew member assists with finishing, project details and final cleaning. Completion depends on building access, paint drying times and site conditions.
A 25% booking payment reserves the project, 25% is due on the scheduled start date, and the remaining 50% is due at completion after the agreed walkthrough. Customer-purchased paint is excluded from the 800 Handy invoice. Scope changes require written approval.
Ceilings, extensive drywall repairs, water damage, mold remediation, major caulking, specialty restoration, hazardous material work and unforeseen structural or substrate repairs are excluded. All dimensions and quantities are subject to onsite confirmation.
Upon completion, our team removes standard masking and job debris, checks accessible painted surfaces under normal lighting and coordinates a final walkthrough. Any agreed corrections within the approved scope will be documented. Painted surfaces require curing time according to manufacturer instructions.
